Bent bars, corners, angles, stirrups and ties are crucial in many concrete construction projects. All of those products, which have traditionally been manufactured from steel, are now manufactured by BINEVIR from GFRP and BFRP composites for a successful and cost-effective replacement of their steel counterparts.

At this point, the nature of the resins and epoxy bonding agents used in manufacturing of GFRP and BFRP composite reinforcement products do not allow bending to be performed on-site. All bent components must be manufactured at the factory to the desired specifications and shipped to the construction site.

Certain standard bent products can be manufactured by BINEVIR on existing forms and can be purchased on the retail and wholesale basis from us (see the one-pager below). A complete catalog of our standard bent products is currently in production and will be available shortly.

Orders for all bespoke bent products must be placed with us and must include specifications and drawings. BINEVIR can produce practically any bent shapes and corners, angles, stirrups, brackets, etc.

BINEVIR R&D Department is currently in the testing stage of a custom high-performance bonding compound which will be bendable on-site with a special heating procedure. Market availability of such product is still undetermined, but we will keep our customers informed of progress in this area.corners
